Shri N.R. Bhattarai is an electrical engineer and retired as Secretary to the Government of Sikkim prior to being appointed as Chairperson of SSERC.
Starting his career as Assistant Engineer (electrical) in the Power Department, Govt. of Sikkim, he rose to the position of Principal Chief Engineer in the Department and was posted as Secretary, Culture Department, Govt. of Sikkim.

Shri T.T. Dorji, I.A.S (retd.) retired as the Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim prior to being appointed as the Chairperson of SSERC.
He had an illustrious career having served as Secretary and Principal Secretary of various State Government Departments and ultimately retiring from the post of Chief Secretary.
